This month, the Wish Tower was very proud to play host to a theatrical event: Badac Theatre’s “The Flood”.
Arranged by Eastbourne College for their students, and the public, this was a two-handed performance perfectly suited to the compact space that is the basement level of the Tower.
It’s the moving story of a soldier and his sweetheart in the First World War and the harrowing things they both experience. Played in such a close space, with actors inches in front of the audience, it was impossible not to get caught up in the emotions and unfolding tragedy.
The company – in the person of Steve and Marnie – were not only superb performers, but great to work with and we very much hope to be able to work with them again in the future.
