Award winning comedian Jay Foreman is playing two shows at the Wish Tower in July, and we’re also joined by drama group Crosspath Theatre.
Jay is previewing his Edinburgh Festival show for children on Saturday 19th July from 3pm. There’s plenty of “charmingly sickable songs, stories, poems and lots more”.
He’s following up with a show for adults, also on 19th July from 7.30pm. Jay has been described as “a Victoria Wood for the Spotify generation” and we’re delighted to see him at the Tower.
This local group will be performing Puff on Tuesday 1st July, a charming new verse play by John Agard set in a period of Elizabethan enchantment with the wonders of the New World.
The show also explores the amorous chemistry between Sir Walter Ralegh and The Virgin Queen at the dawn of Empire.
