As part of a project we’re working on with local artists, Elise and Mary we’re holding two workshops to design a flag for the Wish Tower.
One is on Friday 29th July at Towner and the other is on Saturday 30th July at Leaf Hall – both run from 11am to 3pm.
The Tower will also be open for visitors on Saturday 30th from 11am to 3pm for anyone to pop in and see inside…and, of course, get that wonderful view from the roof.
If you can’t make a workshop but would still like to design a flag there are competition cards to be found at Leaf Hall and at Eastbourne Library. Workshops and entry to the competition is free.
On September 3rd we’ll be holding an exhibition of the entries and panel of judges will choose a design to be made into a real flag which will be flown from the Wish Tower flagpole when the Tower is open for visitors.
